MENTOR #SWSANTIAGOROBERT EITER Robert Eiter has a business background. He studied International Business Administration at the University of Innsbruck and spent thereof one year at the University Carlos III in Madrid. In addition he holds a Bachelor Degree in Historical Sciences with a specialization in economic and social history. Throughout his university career he went for summer internships to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Mexico City. For half a year he worked as an intern in the Controllership department of General Electric in Jenbach, Austria. In a addition he formed part of the European Commission’s Bluebook Traineeship program in spring 2013. After finishing university Robert started working at Deloitte in Frankfurt, Germany. He joined the Risk Services unit and worked in areas related to Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Compliance. In the course of two years, Robert has worked together with more than 30 people. He had exposure to a wide range of different industries including banking, automotive, life sciences, energy and logistics. He was analyzing different processes such as Accounting, Controlling, Marketing, Sales, Communication, Treasury and Logistics. He left Deloitte in order to pursue his dream to set up Linguician. Linguician operates in the two markets that Robert is passionate about: Music Streaming and Digital Language Learning. Robert has a solid experience with learning languages and started learning English at age 8, Italian at age 10, Spanish at age 14 and Portuguese at age 23. He speaks German and English fluently, very good Spanish, intermediate Portuguese and basic Italian. In his free time Robert is a big fan of hiking, particularly summits over 3000m in the Alps as well as Mountain Biking.
